The "Devil o' the Highlands" is a 43 Mile footrace which begins at Tyndrum (Perthshire) and finishes in Fort William (Highlands). Each competitor has 12 hours to complete the course which follows the latter part of the "West Highland Way".

This race is ideal for anyone who wishes to up their race distance from a marathon and experience real Ultra-distance running in the excellent company of fellow runners and the views of some of Scotlands most beautiful scenery.(unless of course the mist comes down)

The race starts at 6am on the morning of Saturday 9th August 2008 from the "Green Welly Stop" car park in the High Street, Tyndrum. The owners of the complex have graciously offered to open the shop to allow us the use of their facilities. Tea, Coffee and last minute food supplies can also be purchased here.

You must check-in at the registration point prior to the start of the race to collect your race number. The registration point will be open from 4.30am until 5.30am on the day. Further information can be found on the other pages of this site.

The "Devil O' The Highlands"has featured in many running magazines and has been rated as one of the top 10 Ultra distance races in Britain by "Runners World magazine". The reason for this success is simple. As runners ourselves we know that good organisation is paramount to an enjoyable event. With this in mind we try to ensure that you are looked after well, during and after the event.
